President's Invitation

On behalf of ASOHNS, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us for the ASOHNS Annual Scientific Meeting, scheduled to take place in the beautiful city of Hobart, Tasmania, from the 20th to the 22nd of March 2026.

This meeting will be convened by Dan McCormick, with the scientific program led by Sor Way Chan. The 2026 program will feature a diverse range of keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and cutting-edge research presentations. Attendees can look forward to exploring the latest advancements in surgical techniques, emerging technologies, and evidence-based practices that are shaping the future of ENT care.

Hobart, renowned for its rich history, vibrant arts scene, and stunning waterfront, will provide a unique and inspiring backdrop for this event. The ASOHNS meeting has always been a cornerstone event for our community, fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing among specialists from across the country and beyond.

You may wish to take some time before or after the conference to explore Hobart’s exceptional dining scene, cultural landmarks, and natural wonders such as wandering through Salamanca Market, visiting the iconic MONA, or exploring the breathtaking scenery of Kunanyi/Mount Wellington.

Conveners' Invitation

We are very pleased to welcome you to the 76th ASOHNS Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be held from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March 2026 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Nipaluna (Hobart), Tasmania, Australia.

We are excited by the opportunity to host the 76th ASOHNS ASM in the exciting and beautiful city of Hobart for the first time since 1991. A beautiful and welcoming state like Tasmania is an excellent conference location. The subspecialty team have been working hard to assemble a panel of local and international speakers that will inspire all of us. We hope to discuss some of the challenges of regional Australia including workforce, sustainability and remoteness through an exciting program.

We welcome and encourage you to also take the opportunity to cherish what Hobart and Tasmania has to offer during your visit. There is so much to enjoy - the wilderness, the wines, excellent food and attractions (including the MONA) which are all at your doorstep.

This will be a wonderful time to learn, meet colleagues and re-energise.

ASOHNS is the representative organisation for Ear Nose and Throat Head and Neck Surgeons in Australia, and dates from 1950. ASOHNS members are specialist surgeons who investigate and treat conditions of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. The Society is committed to clinical excellence, education, and the dissemination of information on Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
